The Finger Lakes Grants Information Center is a Foundation Center Funding Information Network partner. As a member of this nationwide network of libraries, community foundations, and other nonprofit agencies, the Finger Lakes Grants Information Center provides visitors with free public access to grantmaker directories, books on fundraising and nonprofit management, and the Foundation Center’s electronic databases, Foundation Directory Online Professional, Foundation Grants to Individuals Online, and Foundation Maps. These fully searchable databases include detailed profiles of all active U.S. foundations, an extensive file of recent grants awarded by the nation’s top funders, and interactive mapping tools.
Foundation Directory Online Professional: Updated weekly, this database provides the most comprehensive and accurate information on over 150,000 grantmakers and their funding activities as well as over 4 million grants.
Foundation Grants to Individuals Online: The online database of foundation and public charity programs that fund students, artists, researchers, and other individual grantseekers.
Foundation Maps is the most recent offering in the Foundation Center’s suite of premier resources. In response to broad audience demand, this interactive mapping tool was designed for grantmakers, advisors, policymakers, researchers, academics—virtually anyone interested in the impact of philanthropy around the world today.
